American Video Glass Company selected PJ Dick over a number of highly qualified general contractors and construction managers to design and build this 700,000 sf facility. The 330 day fast-track assignment was successfully completed within all contract requirements. The facility includes 34 overhead cranes and monorails, glass furnaces, presses, administration, locker rooms, mold shops, and a central utility plant building. PJ Dick’s sister company, Trumbull Corporation, moved 1.1 million yards of excavation and constructed a new plant roadway system and a 420 car parking lot. PJ Dick subsequently provided miscellaneous repairs and maintenance at the facility.
