PJ Dick provided General Construction Services for Edgar Thomson Steel Works, a division of U.S. Steel. The project included many physical plant improvements to the steel mill located on the historic site of Braddock’s Field, on the banks of the Monongahela River east of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The mill, which provided 28% of U. S. Steel’s domestic production in 2005, was designated a historic landmark by ASM International, a society that honors works of structural engineering.
