PNC Plaza's Triangle Park named as Finalist for Building Excellence Award

Triangle Park was named a finalist for “New Construction Under $10 Million” in the Master Builders’ Association (the Western Pennsylvania chapter of Associated General Contractors of America) Construction Industry Evening of Excellence.

In June of 2009, PJ Dick was awarded Construction Management at Risk services for 3 PNC Plaza’s Triangle Park located between Fifth and Liberty Avenues and Market Street in downtown Pittsburgh. The $1.2 million renovation across the street from the Fairmont Hotels and Resort features a center lawn filled with trees, shrubs and seasonal flower beds lined with pathways and benches.

The approximately 10,000-square foot park, designed by LaQuatra Bonci Associates was completed in October 2009. The dog friendly park was designed with environmentally conscientious attributes such as low voltage lighting, drought resistant and native species, local materials and an innovative stormwater management system.
